Best for: Single professionals, couples without kids, small families with older kids, anyone in a 2-3 bedroom home.
Weekly
Weekly cleaning makes sense when life generates dirt faster than two weeks can absorb. Common reasons: young kids, multiple pets, allergy issues, frequent entertaining, or simply a preference for a consistently spotless home.
Best for: Families with kids under 10, multi-pet households, larger homes (4+ bedrooms), people who work from home and notice everything.
Monthly
Monthly cleaning works for low-traffic homes — typically a couple or single person who keeps things tidy day-to-day and just wants help with the deeper maintenance. The risk with monthly: visits take longer because four weeks of dust accumulates, so the per-visit price goes up.
Best for: Older couples, very low-traffic homes, anyone who already keeps things picked up between visits.
How to decide
Try this test: in the average week, how many days does your home look "guest-ready" versus "lived-in"?
- 5+ days guest-ready: Monthly is probably fine
- 3-4 days guest-ready: Bi-weekly
- 2 or fewer: Weekly
